In today’s economic climate, more and more people are looking to earn extra cash without finding another job. If you already have a job, and it is not paying your bills, why would you look for another one? To me it defies logic. If you want a more secure financial future, it only makes sense to move away from working for someone else and start moving toward working for yourself. So, what exactly does one need to start a Home Based Business? There is one thing, above all else that one needs in starting a home based business. It is desire. Without a true desire to change your life, and to give you the time freedom freedom to do as you wish, you will view temporary defeat as failure, and will soon give up on your dream. I have witnessed all to often, people who never really take the action steps needed to succeed, but make a half hearted attempt at their chosen business and become frustrated at the results or return, expecting to strike it rich fast, and then accept as reality their temporary defeat as failure and simply quit. We can’t help it, it is how our brains are wired. Our subconscious mind tells us that it is not possible, and we simply believe it to be true. With a white hot burning desire to get what you want, and with affirmation to what it is that you desire, you begin to have the realization that temporary defeat does not equal failure, and soon your subconscious mind will help you to do what is necessary to bring about your desire. Sounds easy enough, but is it really? If it were, everybody would have whatever they desire. However, if you learn how to use desire to achieve your goals whatever they may be, you can achieve what it is you are seeking. In Think and Grow Rich, Napoleon Hill says that Faith is the starting point of all accumulation of Riches. That thoughts are things, and as so we think so we become. Faith is a state of mind that can be induced by self-suggestion. That is why you need to write out clear, concise goals for your business in order to read them aloud twice daily so that your subconscious mind, which has already been programmed a certain way, can start pulling you down the path to make those goals a reality. Before you dismiss this as silly, psycho-babble bull, realize that this exact process has helped people accumulate massive amounts of wealth.

So, you see Home Based Business Success or Failure truly is up to you, but you will have to have the Desire to get what it is you want, and the Faith in yourself to follow through.

There are a handful of good blog ping services out there, but recently I noticed one of my favorite is no longer available. For the many people who were using this specific service, I have created a new service to offer all the folks who come here to find the best webmaster services on the net. I added this script to a sister site of mine called RSS 3.0. No, RSS 3.0 is not out quite yet, but this site offers a lot of information on the usage of RSS feeds to make most out of your online efforts and has recently added the blog ping service to its arsenal of must have tools for webmasters and internet marketers alike.

You may already have a ping list associated to your new posts, especially if you are using Wordpress or have your feed listed on feedburner.com, however there are many more RSS feed aggregation services that you may not be sending notifications to by default. This blog pinger allows you to choose which services and in which counties you want your web site information to become syndicated. You can also choose the ?select all? option to send out your site updates to over 70 services all at once!

What Is A Ping Service?

An RSS Ping Service is nothing more than a way for you to notify large sites of updates to your site. Each new post or page you make creates a small section of information on your RSS Feed, each of these include a title that links back to your site and a short description, usually the first few lines of text on your new content. This information is what will be sent to search engines, blog searches and various other rss feed aggregation services.

How Often Should I Use A Ping Service?

You should only use a ping service if you have new information on your site. If you continue to submit a rss feed that does not have any updates in it, some services may see this as spam and stop taking submissions for your site. There is no reason to over ping a site, if you update the site you can go send out a notification and this should suffice.

Are you one of the many people who recently took the leap and started a home based business? Depending on what type of business you are in, you may be very confused, frustrated and/or overwhelmed.  If you are having some success you are probably elated.  If you are not experiencing success, you are becoming frustrated. Affiliate programs are a great way for anyone to start to earn extra cash online.  In this day and age and in this economic climate, who can’t use extra cash? Affiliate programs are really a no brainer when it comes to starting your online venture.  Why?  Little to no start up cost, no website or html knowledge required, no sales copy to write, no product creation, no customer service issues, returns, etc.

So, if all of that is taken care of, how does one go about making income with affiliate programs?  Thats a good question.  You must get people to the sales page.  This is the part where most people fail.  Then they become discouraged, and distracted.  They usually end up moving on to another program or business, and the whole process repeats itself.  You end up spinning your wheels and getting frustrated until you are convinced that there is something you are missing.
